KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Management
• Oversee end-to-end production processes, ensuring efficient execution and delivery.
• Implement strategies to optimize resources, reduce lead times, and meet customer demand.
• Maintain production tools and ensure adherence to cleanroom standards.
Testing Operations
• Manage testing operations to guarantee performance, reliability, and safety.
• Ensure compliance with schedules for electrical, mechanical, optical, and environmental testing.
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment for accuracy and reliability.
Process Optimization & Quality Assurance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop and refine processes to meet regulatory and quality standards.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
Team Leadership
• Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide coaching, training, and career development opportunities for team members.
Strategic Planning & Resource Management
• Develop and manage production plans and budgets.
• Align operations with business objectives and long-term growth strategies.
• Stay updated on industry trends to drive innovation and competitiveness.
Safety and Compliance
• Uphold health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Implement safety protocols and conduct regular audits and training.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably in aerospace or related field).
• Experience: 7+ years in an electronic manufacturing environment, preferably aerospace or defence.
• Proven track record in managing high-tech, high-value projects.
• Expertise in electronic manufacturing, ERP systems, lean manufacturing, and environmental testing methods and practices (e.g. Dynamic, Vibration, EMC, Thermal).
